MEET THE TEACHER - Kelly Mason

Co-founder of Ashtanga Cheshire studios Kelly began her teaching journey in the city of Melbourne, Australia back in 2016 teaching throughout the city and suburbs.

Since 2015 she has been certified as a Yoga teacher training with David Swenson in Manchester (50 hour Ashtanga), David Kyle in Lisbon (50 hour Rocket), Wise living Yoga Academy in Chaing Mai and studied at the oldest running Yoga school The Yoga Institute in Mumbai where she studied over 900 hours extensive training in Traditional Hatha Yoga. In 2020 she studied Classical Mat Pilates with New York based Equinox.

During her in-depth studies into Yoga she decided to align her lifestyle with the ethics of the practice and turned vegan and trained as a Plant based Chef with world renowned Vegan Chef Matthew Kenney in California back in 2016.

She has since taught in California, Manchester and India and is now based between Cheshire and London offering her services as a freelance plant based chef (Private clients and wellness retreats) and Yoga/Pilates teacher at Ashtanga Cheshire studios.
